Spooktacular Cocktails to Brew at Home


Halloween isn’t just for the kiddos and at Ivar’s we take our beverages seriously – so seriously we’re sharing three of our Spooktacular cocktail recipes you can make at home, courtesy of the scary-creative team at Ivar’s Mukilteo Landing. Whether you plan on entertaining or passing out candy to trick-or-treaters, we’ve got you covered with options that are sure to excite anyone from witches to warlocks.

Boo-Berry Tea

Yields one cocktail 


  •  1 1/4 oz Disaronno Amaretto
  • 1/4 oz Grand Marnier
  • Hot Tea
  • Lemon or Orange Twist
  • Spooky garnish of your choosing!


1.     Mix all alcohol in glass

2.     Add hot tea

3.     Add a lemon or orange twist

4.     Garnish with a spooky treat of your choosing


Zom-B 52 Coffee

Yields one cocktail


  • 1 oz Baileys
  • 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
  • Coffee
  • Whipped cream
  • Meringue 


1.     Mix all alcohol in glass or mug

2.     Add coffee

3.     Top with whipped cream and a zombie/ghost-shaped meringue with chocolate eyes

I Vant to Suck Your Blood Orange Margarita 

Yields one cocktail


  •  1/4 oz Sauza Blue Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau or favorite orange liqueur
  • Fresh margarita mix
  • Blood orange puree (or grenadine)
  • Blood orange wedge garnish
  • Margarita or Kosher salt


1.     Rub rim of the glass with blood orange or thin film of water

2.     Using a small saucer or plate, dip the glass into salt

3.     Mix all alcohol in glass

4.     Add fresh margarita mix

5.     Pour blood orange puree (or grenadine) over top of finished margarita for drizzling blood effect

6.     Garnish with blood orange wedge
